My XFree86.log says "Error loading keymap /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/compiled/server-0.xkm", but I don't know why, the directory is symlinked to local tmpfs. I checked and rechecked the conf file and was sure that all was fine. Here's what happens: I boot up, it boots normally, then the screen flashes a few times between black and dark grey. First time is it slower, but not match than second time. I copied a bunch of fonts from my old Windows disk into /usr/local/share/fonts/TTF, and then got this error when rebooting.
