The programs are still there, to be employed when needed...they just will not run at startup. To completely remove vestiges of any program, a search must also be made of files, using the Start/Search function. Unfortunately there's no elegant way of getting around this rather than running the project from the setup.exe. have a peek here If it is reproducible in all cases you could always change the uninstall string to point to the Setup.exe rather than the ctor.dll file.
